It’s no doubt it has been an incredible summer of music, and it’s not over yet as the legendary Reading and Leeds Festival takes place this weekend. With dozens of acts playing across 8 stages over 3 days, there is lot to choose from. As always the Already Heard team has got together to pick out what we think are the 20 must-see acts at Reading and Leeds 2014.

Bloody Knees are the latest band to emerge from the UK lo-fi punk scene. On August 25th the quartet release their new EP, 'Stitches' which promises to be a catchy and raw in equal measures. We spoke to vocalist Bradley Griffiths to discuss the new EP, joining Dog Knights Productions, being part of the UK emo and lo-fi resurgence and more.

Entombed A.D. Announce UK Tour with Hang the Bastard

Swedish death metallers Entombed A.D. have announced they are to tour the UK this November with Hang the Bastard.

The tour is in support of their new album 'Back to the Front', the first album under the band’s new name since original member/guitarist Alex Hellid left last year. It came out earlier this month on Century Media Records.

Darko Preview New EP with Atlas To Atlantis

Melodic punks Darko are set to release a new EP, 'Sea of Trees' on 8th September through Lockjaw Records, and the Surrey five piece have posted a new track called 'Atlas To Atlantis'.

The track can be streamed after the jump, and the EP will be released on CD and a limited run of 300 colur vinyls (100 red, 100 blue, 100 black).
