In a new interview with Blaring Out, Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi stated the band have recorded six songs so far for their forthcoming album.
Iommi told Blaring Out:
“We’ve written the 15 songs and we’ve played them all, but now at the moment we’re recording them. We’re about six tracks in at the moment.”
The album is being produced by Rick Rubin and is set to be released in April 2013. However it will not feature original drummer Bill Ward.
