Earlier this month marked 10 years since The Wonder Years released their fifth album, ‘No Closer To Heaven’. With plans to release a remixed and remastered version of the record, the Philadelphia band will be making a brief visit to the UK to play the album in full.
The shows in Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, and London will take place in January and will feature support from Free Throw and Gully Boys.
On announcing the tour on Instagram, The Wonder Years said:
No Closer to Heaven 10 Year Anniversary Tour: UK Edition! You asked for it and here it is—four very special dates with our buds in @freethrowemo and @gullyboysband.
We’re playing the entire record (and the b-side) as well as a bunch of other songs from across our catalog. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 3/10/25 (that’s October 3rd!) at 10 am UK time.
And listen, I know the comments here are going to be a lot of “but what about [city and/or country],” and I just want to say that we appreciate that you want to hear these songs and that these aren’t the only NCTH shows we’re planning. These are just the only ones that we’re ready to announce. To be clear, they ARE the only ones we’re planning in the UK though, so if you were hoping for a show in Stoke-on-Trent, I’m afraid you’re out of luck, friend.
