Primus, Chelsea Wolfe, and Cult Of Luna & Julie Christmas Announced as ArcTanGent 2026 Headliners

The second announcement for next year’s ArcTanGent Festival has revealed its headliners. It will see legendary experimental rockers Primus play their first UK show since 2017 when they close out on Friday night. 24 hours before that, Chelsea Wolfe will headline, fulfilling a spot she was originally meant to take in 2020 before the festival was cancelled due to COVID-19. The final night of the festival will see Cult Of Luna and Julie Christmas come together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their 2016 album, ‘Mariner’. If that’s not enough, SikTh will headline the early entry day on Wednesday night.

Today’s announcement also sees Naplam Death, High On Fire, Conjurer, and Jo Quail & The Crossbones Ensemble join ATG 2026.

“The stars really have aligned for this set of ArcTanGent headliners – and it’s safe to say all three have been firmly at the top of our wish lists for a very, very long time,” says ArcTanGent Festival organiser James Scarlett. “Primus at ArcTanGent is well overdue, Chelsea Wolfe can finally make that headliner appearance following the booking, announcement and then cancellation from back in 2020 due to Covid, and ‘Mariner’ by Cult of Luna and Julie Christmas is 100% one of the greatest albums of all time (and celebrating its 10th anniversary next year!). To have them all headline ATG in the same year is literally unbelievable – and we’re extremely proud to present a festival line up truly unlike anything else you’ll find on the planet.”

ArcTanGent Festival 2026 will take place at Fernhill Farm near Bristol from Wednesday, 19th August to Saturday, 22nd August 2026.
