Earlier this month, the Download Festival announced its first wave of bands. In addition to announcing over 90 acts, lead festival booker Kam Haq spoke to Planet Rock about working on a “massive curveball”. This evening (Wednesday, 26th November), Download Festival announced German techno act, Scooter, to next year’s line-up.
It follows this year’s event, which saw fellow Euro dance act, Vengaboys, play to a packed-out tent in the festival’s village, District X. However, in an attempt to avoid similar crowd issues, Scooter, will be headlining on the Avalanche Stage. It has not been confirmed which day they will be headlining.
The German trio are said to be one of Download Festival‘s most requested acts.
