Foo Fighters Preview New Album with ‘Caught In The Echo’

Foo Fighters have shared a third track from their forthcoming 12th studio album, Your Favorite Toy.’ The track is called ‘Caught In The Echo’ and proves to be a raw and punchy offering from the American stadium rockers. Elevated by its introspective lyrics and passionate rock energy, it’s considerably the strongest track to be released from ‘Your Favorite Toy’ so far.

The album is due for release on 24th April via Roswell Records/Columbia Records.

Ice Nine Kills Unleash Glam Metal Alter Ego with ‘Hell Or High Slaughter (Grave Diggler Pt.2)’

Having recently contributed to the ‘Scream 7’ soundtrack, Ice Nine Kills have now provided a track to the recently released Ready or Not 2: Here I Come’. However, it’s not quite the Ice Nine Kills will know. ‘Hell or High Slaughter’ sees them take on the alter ego of Grave Diggler, a glam metal band made up of their fathers. The track has come to light following what the band describe as a “legal battle between Ice Nine Kills and their fathers.”

Frontman Spencer Charnas spoke candidly about the personal weight behind the concept, “I’ve been estranged from my father for a long time. But this movie, and this song, while bringing a lot of complicated feelings to the surface, also brought us back together.”

Although the track has been released, it seems the relationship between Ice Nine Kills and their “dads” still isn’t great. Commenting on ‘Hell Or High Slaughter,’ Spencer’s “father”, Sonny shared, “You call my son shrieking into a microphone like a meshuggah mental patient ‘singing’? That’s not heavy metal. I’m heavy metal.”

Neurosis Surprise Release New Album ‘An Undying Love For A Burning World’

Neurosis have made a surprise return, releasing their new album ‘An Undying Love For A Burning World’ digitally today via Neurot Recordings.

As well as being their first record in a decade, it sees the post-metal band welcome Aaron Turner (Sumac, Isis) to the fold as vocalist and guitarist. He joins vocalist/guitarist Steve Von Till, drummer Jason Roeder, bassist Dave Edwardson, and keyboard player Noah Landis. The band shared the following statement on its release:

“We need this, perhaps more than ever, and we suspect we are not alone. The trials and tribulations in our personal lives and as a band, combined with simply trying to navigate the insanity of our society, with the stress, anxiety, and isolation that come with it can be excruciating. Add to that the existential confusion and sorrow of the climate crisis and the sixth mass extinction. It is enough to cause you to completely lose your mind if you can’t find release or catharsis. This strange, emotionally charged music has always been our method of trying to survive this and this is what we’ve always been singing about. When you have spent a lifetime engaged with these energies and utilizing this form of expression to purge and purify, it feels detrimental to our well-being to let it sit idle and neglected. This was now or never.”

On the inclusion of Turner joining the band, they commented, “He came straight out of the gate contributing, writing and presenting ideas,” says the band. “His energy matches ours perfectly. It’s as if he was always meant to be there.”

Every Hell Returns with Huge New Single ‘Let Me Go’

Brighton/Bristol quintet Every Hell have released their first new music of the year. ‘Let Me Go’ is a rapid, rugged and explosive return that captures them as ambitious and sharper than ever. Armed with a barrage of riffs and an infectious groove, it’s a welcome return to Every Hell.

“‘Let Me Go’ was written in the Summer of 2025, an initial idea brought to the rehearsal room that was a bit too proggy. We slowly tore it apart over a few weeks to make it more gnarly and dissonant, more aligned with Every Hell vibe,” explained vocalist and sax player Will Gardner.  “Lyrically, ‘Let Me Go’ is about being stuck in a loop of guilt and self-loathing until eventually giving in to depression and anxiety instead of fighting it. I think a lot of the time we fight really hard against deep and dark emotions instead of embracing them as part of being human and imperfect.”

The band have a run of UK dates coming up, including several alongside Haggard Cat.
