Baltimore hardcore heroes Turnstile have been riding a wave of momentum all summer following the release of ‘Never Enough’. As they prepare to kick off a US tour before a brief UK return later in the year, they stopped by NPR to perform a 5-track Tiny Desk Concert’.
Joined by Tobias Moody (saxophone), Theljon Allen (trumpet), Troy Long (piano), the quintet performed stripped-back versions of tracks such as ‘Dreaming,’ ‘I Care’, and ‘Never Enough’. While the addition of brass instruments and piano adds a rich coat to Turnstile‘s energetic sound, as seen from the final track performed, ‘Birds,’ they still managed to bring chaos to NPR‘s office.
