Today, the quintet have shared the album&#8217;s second single, <em>&#8216;Throw Me Away&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The melodically strong number sees frontman Ian Shelton in the valleys of self-doubt.\u00a0<em> \u201c\u2018Throw Me Away\u2019 is about the feeling of only being valued when you\u2019re visible or useful and the desperate need to hold onto that,&#8221;<\/em> shares\u00a0<strong>Militarie\u00a0Gun<\/strong>&#8216;s vocalist. <em>&#8220;What someone loves about you one day might be cited as a reason they hate you now. It\u2019s the desire for external validation and also the deep resentment of it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;God Save The Gun&#8217;<\/em>s first single,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/sLz4rnkCAM0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&#8216;B A D I D E A&#8217;<\/em><\/a> was released last month.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Militarie Gun - Throw Me Away (Official Music Video)\" width=\"800\" height=\"600\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/krcpBXGW_h8?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The single&#8217;s release coincides with the news that the Californian group will be returning to the UK and Ireland in the new year for a headline tour.
