{"id":100171,"date":"2025-09-10T21:02:11","date_gmt":"2025-09-10T20:02:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/?p=100171"},"modified":"2025-09-10T21:02:11","modified_gmt":"2025-09-10T20:02:11","slug":"turnstiles-npr-tiny-desk","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/turnstiles-npr-tiny-desk\/","title":{"rendered":"Turnstile&#8217;s NPR Tiny Desk Concert is Essential Viewing"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Baltimore hardcore heroes <strong>Turnstile<\/strong> have been riding a wave of momentum all summer following the release of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/review-turnstile-never-enough\/\"><em>&#8216;Never Enough&#8217;<\/em>.<\/a> As they prepare to kick off a US tour before a brief UK return later in the year, they stopped by\u00a0<strong>NPR<\/strong> to perform a 5-track\u00a0<em>Tiny Desk Concert&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Joined by\u00a0Tobias Moody (saxophone), Theljon Allen (trumpet), Troy Long (piano), the quintet performed stripped-back versions of tracks such as <em>&#8216;Dreaming,&#8217;\u00a0<\/em><em>&#8216;I Care&#8217;,<\/em> and\u00a0<em>&#8216;Never Enough&#8217;<\/em>.
