With this week’s #NewMusicFriday<\/b> list consisting of over 50 releases, let’s waste no time with the round-up.<\/p>\n

The much-talked-about PRESIDENT\u00a0<\/strong>unleash their debut EP,\u00a0‘King of Terrors’,<\/em> with middling results.\u00a0 While\u00a0The Starting Line<\/strong> return with\u00a0‘Eternal Youth’.\u00a0<\/em>It’s the Philadelphians’ first album in 18 years. On the heavier side, ferocious metalcore\u00a0outfit Dying<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Wish<\/strong>\u00a0incorporates more melodic and vulnerable elements on ‘Flesh Stays Together’<\/em>.\u00a0White Reaper<\/strong> reemerge reinvigorated as ‘Only Slightly Empty’<\/em> homes in on favourable, hook-y garage rock.<\/p>\n

In terms of newcomers and emerging names,\u00a0Royal Sorrow<\/strong>‘s expansive brand of prog- and alt-metal is recommended listening. Isle of Wight quartet\u00a0Coach Party<\/strong> return with a thriving set of alt-rock songs on\u00a0‘Caramel’<\/em>. Emo upstarts Aren’t We Amphibians\u00a0<\/strong>deliver twisting guitar lines, shifting rhythms, with debut album, ‘Parade! Parade!’<\/em> comfortably leaving their mark on the genre’s latest wave. On the brighter side,\u00a0 Indecent Behavior\u00a0<\/strong>throws their hat in the pop-punk ring with their zesty debut, ‘SICK’<\/em>. Bristol-based trio Last Hyena<\/strong> return with their third full-length, ‘Suspect Your Elders’<\/em>. It sees the instrumental rockers blend mathematical precision and atmospheric soundscapes.<\/p>\n

There are also new releases from Zetra<\/strong>, Scaler<\/strong>, Hunny<\/strong>, Acres<\/strong>, Coilguns<\/strong>,\u00a0Poptones<\/strong>, Rainbow Kitten Surprise<\/strong>, Kanadia<\/strong>,\u00a0Sundrowned<\/strong>, and many more.<\/p>\n
