{"id":100381,"date":"2025-09-29T20:42:50","date_gmt":"2025-09-29T19:42:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/?p=100381"},"modified":"2025-09-29T20:50:52","modified_gmt":"2025-09-29T19:50:52","slug":"the-wonder-years-ncth_uk-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/the-wonder-years-ncth_uk-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"The Wonder Years Announce &#8216;No Closer To Heaven&#8217; UK Dates"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Earlier this month marked 10 years since\u00a0<strong>The Wonder Years<\/strong> released their fifth album, <em>&#8216;No Closer To Heaven&#8217;.\u00a0<\/em>With plans to release a remixed and remastered version of the record, the Philadelphia band will be making a brief visit to the UK to play the album in full.<\/p>\n<p>The shows in Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, and London will take place in January and will feature support from <strong>Free Throw<\/strong> and <strong>Gully Boys<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>On announcing the tour on Instagram,\u00a0<strong>The Wonder Years<\/strong> said:<\/p>\n<p><em>No Closer to Heaven 10 Year Anniversary Tour: UK Edition! You asked for it and here it is\u2014four very special dates with our buds in @freethrowemo and @gullyboysband.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>We\u2019re playing the entire record (and the b-side) as well as a bunch of other songs from across our catalog. Tickets go on sale this Friday, 3\/10\/25 (that\u2019s October 3rd!) at 10 am UK time.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>And listen, I know the comments here are going to be a lot of \u201cbut what about [city and\/or country],\u201d and I just want to say that we appreciate that you want to hear these songs and that these aren\u2019t the only NCTH shows we\u2019re planning. These are just the only ones that we\u2019re ready to announce. To be clear, they ARE the only ones we\u2019re planning in the UK though, so if you were hoping for a show in Stoke-on-Trent, I\u2019m afraid you\u2019re out of luck, friend.<\/em><\/p>\n<div class=\"ah-infobox\" style=\"max-width: 80%;
