The Californian punk trio have revealed details of a new album. It&#8217;s called <em>&#8216;I Used To Go To This Bar&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>and will be released on January 30th, 2026, via <strong>Epitaph Records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Produced by label boss, Brett Gurewitz, <em>&#8216;I Used To Go To This Bar<\/em>&#8216;s nine songs promise to tap into <strong>Joyce Manor<\/strong>&#8216;s assured short-and-sweet songcraft.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWhen it comes to our musical DNA, he\u2019s one of the architects of everything we grew up on. Having him guide our record helped us make something that we could put next to those classic records that shaped us,\u201d<\/em> shares vocalist\/guitarist Barry Johnson. Coming at just over two minutes, the track highlights the Californian trio&#8217;s tendency to produce short and melodically rich cuts.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201c\u2018Well, Whatever It Was\u2019 has got to be one of the most Southern California-sounding songs ever recorded. I hear Jane\u2019s Addiction in the verses, Beach Boys \/ Weezer in the chorus, and RHCP in the outro. It was LITERALLY produced by the guy from Bad Religion FFS. Everyone was just firing on all cylinders for this one,&#8221;<\/em> says Barry Johnson. <em>&#8220;Joey Waronker\u2019s drumming, TLA\u2019s mix, and Lenny Castro\u2019s percussion all just sent it to the end-zone. This song would go insanely hard in a Shrek film.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, its video is worth watching too. Directed by Lance Bangs (Jackass), it sees\u00a0<strong>Joyce Manor<\/strong> take part in the grand final of\u00a0<em>&#8216;The UK Rock Bake Off&#8217;<\/em>. It sees them compete against the likes of &#8220;Liam and Noel Gallagher&#8221;, The Cure&#8217;s &#8220;Robert Smith,&#8221; &#8220;Morrissey&#8221; and &#8220;Kate Bush&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Joyce Manor -
