Militarie Gun – God Save The Gun<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It’s another busy week of #NewMusicFriday<\/strong> releases. Besides returns from\u00a0Militarie Gun<\/strong>,\u00a0All Time Low<\/strong>,\u00a0 Biohazard<\/strong>, and\u00a0Tame Impala<\/strong>. There’s also a handful of anniversaries on show as\u00a0Fall Out Boy<\/strong>, The Wonder Years<\/strong>, and\u00a0Imogen Heap<\/strong> celebrate landmark records.\u00a0The Subways<\/strong> are also in a celebratory mood as ‘When I\u2019m With You’<\/em> marks their 20th anniversary.<\/p>\n

For something more grand and hefty, power metallers Sabaton<\/strong> go all out, as always, with their eleventh album, ‘Legends’.<\/em> If that’s not enough power metal for you, there’s always ‘Steelbound’<\/em>\u00a0by Battle<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0Beast<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

There is a handful of noteworthy emerging and underground names that deserve your attention. Buffalo, New York’s Spaced<\/strong> leave their mark with their blistering brand of bruising hardcore on ‘No Escape’<\/em>. A bit closer to home, Brighton is the home of two acts highlighted this week. First of all, Eville<\/strong> deliver a fair amount of breakdown and hooks with their contagious debut EP,\u00a0‘Brat Metal<\/em>‘. Meanwhile,\u00a0‘Paper Street’<\/em> by\u00a0H_ngm_n<\/strong> sees the emo\/pop-punk duo pay off a decade-long collaboration. Filled with impassioned hooks and an abundance of energy, it isn’t one to ignore.<\/p>\n

Likewise, post-metal outfit IAN<\/strong> craft compelling post-rock textures with dense metallic riffs on ‘Come On Everybody, Let’s Do Nothing!’\u00a0<\/em>Having become friends as part of Exeter’s early ’00s DIY punk scene, the reconnected quintet known as\u00a0IAN<\/strong> treat their debut album as a\u00a0labour of love. It results in an emotive record, as it is destructive.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere,\u00a0Camp Cope<\/strong> bid farewell with a live recording of their final show at the iconic Sydney Opera House. You can hear new music from rap-rockers\u00a0Silly Goose<\/strong>, and Britpop x shoegaze revivalists Dear Boy<\/strong>, along with releases from\u00a0Of Monsters And Men<\/strong>,\u00a0Skegss<\/strong>, Good Luck<\/strong>, and many more.<\/p>\n

As a bonus, we’ve listed every special release from tomorrow’s National Album Day<\/strong><\/a>. With this year’s theme celebrating all things rock, October 18th will see limited vinyl releases of albums from Architects<\/strong>, Avenged Sevenfold<\/strong>, Ghost<\/strong>, Good Charlotte,<\/strong> Queen<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n
