Earlier this summer,\u00a0Angel Du$t<\/strong> joined\u00a0Run For Cover Records<\/strong>, as well as releasing a 7\u2033 called <\/a>\u2018The Beat\u2019<\/a>.\u00a0<\/em>Now the forward-thinking punk\/hardcore group have announced a new album. It’s called\u00a0‘Cold 2 The Touch’<\/em> and will be released on February 13th.<\/p>\n

The 26-minute-long record sees Angel Du$t<\/strong> reunite with producer Brian McTernan (Turnstile, Balance & Composure, Bane, Converge). It will also feature a cast of guest appearances: Scott Vogel (Terror), Frank Carter, Wes Einhold (American Nightmare and Cold Cave), Taylor Young (Twitching Tongues and Deadbody), and Patrick Cozens (Restraining Order).<\/p>\n

Consisting of 11 tracks,\u00a0‘Cold 2 The Touch’<\/em> is described as being “eclectic and hard-hitting”<\/em> as\u00a0Angel Du$t<\/strong> show they’re determined not to be confined by subgenres.\u00a0Commenting on the record, Angel Du$t<\/strong> frontman Justice Tripp said, \u201cThis is who I am, and I speak for the band too: these are people who are always going to be playing aggressive rock & roll. It\u2019s happening whether you like it or not. I\u2019m me, and if you get in my way, I\u2019m gonna crush you.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Completed by guitarist Steve Marino, bassist Zechariah Ghostribe, and new drummer Nick Lewis and guitarist Jim Caroll, Tripp describes the new album as\u00a0“the most collaborative Angel Du$t record.”\u00a0<\/em>He elaborates, sharing, “The band has always been about me funnelling other elements coming in from other people\u2013I make a lot of music based on where I feel like the collective consciousness is going.”<\/em><\/p>\n

The announcement ‘Cold 2 The Touch’\u00a0<\/em>also sees the title track being released. It gives a clear indication of the direction\u00a0Angel Du$t\u00a0<\/strong>are heading in with its galloping pace, soaring guitars, and Justice Tripp’s one-of-a-kind vocal delivery.<\/p>\n
