This time it is the turn of the\u00a0<strong>2000Trees Festival<\/strong>. The Gloucestershire-based festival has announced ovecr 80 acts for next July&#8217;s gathering with the first headliners being confirmed as <strong>Alkaline Trio<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The legendary Chicago punks will close out Thursday night of the four-day festival. While that day is considered the &#8220;first&#8221; day of the festival, the Wednesday night will be headlined by\u00a0<strong>PUP<\/strong>. The Canadian quartet will be playing two sets across the weekend. Fellow countrymen,\u00a0<strong>The Dirty Nil<\/strong>, will also be playing twice. Some of the other names joining them on the opening day are\u00a0<strong>BlackGold<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Lake Malice<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Split Chain<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Venus Grrrls<\/strong>, <strong>Karen D\u00edo<\/strong>, and\u00a0<strong>Love Rarely<\/strong>. While festival legends,\u00a0<strong>Thrill Collins<\/strong>, will be playing a live silent disco set.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thursday<\/strong> will see feature sets from\u00a0<strong>Scowl<\/strong>, <strong>Superheaven<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Bad Nerves<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Coach Party<\/strong>, <strong>Lonesome<\/strong>, <strong>Native James<\/strong>, <strong>Snake Eyes<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n<p>Some of Friday&#8217;s highlights will come in the form of <strong>Lambrini Girls<\/strong>, <strong>Cancer Bats<\/strong>, <strong>Free Throw<\/strong>, <strong>House of Protection<\/strong>, <strong>FOOTBALLHEAD<\/strong>, and <strong>Guillotine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The final day of the festival, Saturday, features\u00a0<strong>Glassjaw<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>Dinosaur Pile-Up<\/strong>, <strong>High Vis<\/strong>, <strong>Ho99o9<\/strong>, <strong>Nothing<\/strong>, <strong>Pinkshift<\/strong>, <strong>Heart Attack Man<\/strong>, <strong>I Am The Avalanche<\/strong>, and more. We have a long-requested returning headliner in the shape of Alkaline Trio, some returning 2000trees much-loved acts like Dinosaur Pile Up, High Vis, PUP, Lambrini Girls, Cancer Bats and The Dirty Nil.
