After a slight break (sorry, I’ve been ill), our #NewMusicFriday<\/b> round-up has returned.<\/p>\n

Today sees horror film maker and rock legend Rob Zombie<\/b> return with a new album, ‘The Great Satan’<\/i>. Alt\/shoegaze specialists NOTHING<\/b> deliver a reflective collection in the form of ‘a short history of decay’<\/i>. Ferocious metalcore\/hardcore mob Varials\u00a0<\/b>unleash\u00a0‘Where The Light Leaves’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

If you’re looking for some theatrical metalcore with some intriguing world-building, then look no further than\u00a0‘Royal Discordance’<\/em> by\u00a0The Gloom In The Corner<\/strong>.\u00a0‘The Beast Goes On’<\/em> by Atlanta’s Starbenders<\/strong> sees them add oody alt-pop, and raw, cinematic energyto their brand of synth-rock. Meanwhile, leading synthwave artist Carpenter Brut<\/strong> returns with ‘<\/em><\/span>Leather Temple’.<\/em><\/p>\n

I also have to give a special mention to Brighton-based trio,\u00a0Matador<\/strong>. Their new album,\u00a0‘Above, Below and So,’<\/em> is an immersive brand of post-metal, weaving in atmospheric doom.<\/p>\n

There are also releases from the likes of\u00a0Shelf Lives<\/strong>, Arm’s Length<\/strong>, Crooked Fingers<\/strong>,\u00a0Paerish<\/strong>, Autumn Fires<\/strong>, Phoenix Lake<\/strong>, and more.<\/p>\n
