Alongside albums from\u00a0<strong>ERRA<\/strong> and <strong>snake eyes<\/strong> (covered in detail <a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/review-erra-silence-outlives-the-earth\/\">here<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/already-heard-track-guide-snake-eyes-cash-rich\/\">here<\/a>, respectively), today sees new music from\u00a0<strong>Black Stone Cherry<\/strong>, <strong>Alex Melton<\/strong> and\u00a0<strong>The S.E.T.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Celebrate&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>by\u00a0<strong>Black Stone Cherry<\/strong> sees the Kentucky foursome deliver their usual brand of country-tinged hard rock. As its title suggests, they want to enjoy life&#8217;s small victories on this fleeting return. For multi-instrumentalist <strong>Alex Melton<\/strong>,\u00a0<em>&#8216;The Process&#8217;<\/em> sees him step away from his emo\/pop-punk covers to deliver a collection of original songs. Aided by Alan Day of Four Year Strong, the record allows an introspective Melton deliver a warm debut that comfortably leans into his influences, without sounding formulaic.<\/p>\n<p>If you want unapologetic hardcore straight out of Baltimore, Maryland, then <strong>The S.E.T.<\/strong>&#8216;s semi-eponymous debut EP, <em>&#8216;Self Evident Truth,&#8217;<\/em> deserves to be listened to. Thriving with intense fury and sharp grooves, its seven tracks come and go in the space of 15 minutes.
