With Download, Glastonbury and more set to take place in the coming weeks, you might not think there is any noteworthy new music on the horizon. However, you\u2019d be wrong as June sees the likes of <b>Rancid<\/b>, <b>Stone Sour<\/b> and <b>Captain, We\u2019re Sinking<\/b> return with new releases. While albums from <b>Kamikaze Girls<\/b> and <b>Rozwell Kid<\/b> are sure not to be ignored.<\/p>\n<p>Nevertheless, for this month\u2019s edition of <i>\u201cIncoming\u201d<\/i>, we have decided to highlight a diverse mix of releases that you shouldn\u2019t ignore this month. Read on to find out our 5 must-hear releases for June.<br \/>\n<iframe src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/user\/alreadyhearduk\/playlist\/2Soe4HhrjPQW0HFTQcDofx\" width=\"100%\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\" allowtransparency=\"true\" allow=\"encrypted-media\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<figure class=\"tmblr-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/78.media.tumblr.com\/f8dc5220b26352c2b32a5f1fa698a2bd\/tumblr_oqq2v5RxP31r8no6so6_r1_1280.jpg\" width=\"250em\" alt=\"\" title=\"\"><\/figure>\n<h2>All Time Low &#8211; Last Young Renegade<\/h2>\n<p>Youthful though they all may still look and act, as they prepare to release their seventh studio album <i>\u2019Last Young Renegade\u2019<\/i>, <b>All Time Low<\/b> are nearing what has to be considered tried and tested veteran status. They\u2019ve been undisputed kings of the new generation of pop-punk for years and it\u2019s always seemed like when, rather than if, they would crossover and dominate the pop mainstream as well.<\/p>\n<p>With an evolved, more pop and melody focused sound, already showcased by singles <i>\u2019Dirty Laundry\u2019<\/i> and title track <i>\u2019Last Young Renegade\u2019<\/i>, some outrageously infectious vocal hooks and a slick cinematic feeling campaign to boot, Baltimore\u2019s finest are going all out for just that. This is shaping up to be their most important and career defining album to date. They may not be pop-punk anymore, but with Alex Gaskarth writing world beating pop gems, who cares. With founding guitarist Alex Blackwell returning last summer, the South Carolinians have decided to head in a new direction on album number four, <i>\u2018RARE\u2019<\/i>.<\/p>\n<p>With the admittance of having grown bored of playing melodic hardcore, <i>&#8216;RARE\u2019<\/i> sees the quartet fully embracing a washed-out, shoegaze-esque indie rock sound. As heard on <i>&#8216;Neurotic\u2019<\/i> and <i>&#8216;Suffer\u2019<\/i>, <b>Hundredth<\/b> have certainly shed their hardcore skin with intriguing yet promising results. It\u2019s certainly going to divide opinions once released, however <i>&#8216;RARE\u2019<\/i> shows a band with aspirations to deliver a record that will extend their longevity. It\u2019s an aim all bands should have. Essentially, it let two of hardcore\u2019s most serious musicians let their head down and have some fun.<\/p>\n<p>Follow up <i>\u2018War Moans\u2019<\/i> appears at a surface to be a continuation of that punk rock frolicking found on their first release, demonstrated on buoyant lead single <i>\u2018Melt Your Mind\u2019<\/i> and the camp undertones of <i>\u2018Kiss of Death<\/i>\u2019. However, the grandiose nature of <i>\u2018Bandages\u2019<\/i> shows the Mutoid men integrate the progressive glory of their main bands into their side-project.<\/p>\n<p>Either way, one thing a <b>Mutoid Man<\/b> album guarantees is a multitude of memorable riffs to scrape from your speakers into your skull and any riff that a group with this much talent behind it can create is worth your time and energy to jam to. Times may have changed and music may have evolved but <b>CKY<\/b> sound as current as ever without doing much in the way of change. Revisiting a writing process that helped gain a fan base of unrivalled loyalty, <i>&#8216;The Phoenix\u2019<\/i> is truly triumphant. There\u2019s no rust to shake off here as the band settle into a new format now performing as a three-piece.<\/p>\n<p>With <i>&#8216;Days of Self Destruction\u2019<\/i> already doing the rounds as well as follow up single <i>&#8216;Replaceable\u2019<\/i>, it\u2019s fair to say this is not an accurate representation of what <b>CKY<\/b> have been up to. <i>&#8216;The Phoenix\u2019<\/i> is eclectic, bringing a healthy mix to the table but at its core this is a rock and roll record that doesn\u2019t let up. With <i>&#8216;The Phoenix\u2019<\/i>, <b>CKY<\/b> are sure to capture the imaginations of the existing &#8216;CKY Alliance\u2019 as well as finding a whole new generation of fans ready to accept <b>CKY<\/b>, not only as a band but as a way of life. The Melbourne quartet\u2019s debut EP, <i>&#8216;grow up. give up. let go.\u2019<\/i> promises to be an exciting blend of emo and pop-punk, taking its cues from fellow countrymen Trophy Eyes, as well as Brand New and Citizen.<\/p>\n<p>Recent single, <i>&#8216;You\u2019re Probably Gonna Hate This\u2019<\/i>, is an energetic introduction to what <b>Bukowski<\/b> have to offer; impassioned vocals combined with tight, soaring instrumentation. While <i>&#8216;twothousandandseven\u2019<\/i> and <i>&#8216;Brood\u2019<\/i> showcase a more intense, emotive side to <b>Bukowski<\/b>. Don\u2019t be surprised if they\u2019re not part of the next wave of Aussie bands to breakout.
