Festival season is over for another year but as we all know the live music scene doesn’t stop there. As always a whole wrath of UK tours are taking place in the coming months. From up and coming UK bands to major overseas bands making their return to these shores, there is plenty of outstanding choices.<\/p>\n

For this edition of “Fives”<\/strong> we take a look at five essential tours you should go out and see this Autumn.<\/p>\n

The Wonder Years with Real Friends, Neck Deep and Handguns<\/strong>
For pop punk enthusiasts this mix of the biggest and most promising bands within the genre is a must-see. For many The Wonder Years<\/strong> stole the show at the Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong> in May and with several dates on this tour being upgraded, its clear they are certainly a band in demand. On top of that you have the much anticipated UK debut of Real Friends<\/strong> who will be bringing their anthemic brand of pop punk and, of course, their “bony knees”. Representing the UK have the up and coming Neck Deep<\/strong>. Having recently signed to Hopeless Records<\/strong>, the Welsh band will be previewing their forthcoming ‘Wishful Thinking’<\/em> LP. On top of that Pennsylvania’s Handguns<\/strong> will be jumping on select dates to make this tour even more awesome!<\/p>\n

Mallory Knox with Blitz Kids and Crooks<\/strong>
Long time readers of Already Heard<\/strong> will probably know we’re admires of Oxford’s Mallory Knox<\/strong> and in November they will be finishing a fantastic 2013 on a high with a lengthy UK tour. Their debut LP ‘Signals’<\/em> has opened many doors for the quintet and after playing nearly every festival possible this summer, they’re going to be heading out with ever emerging Blitz Kids<\/strong> and up and coming hardcore band Crooks<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Paramore<\/strong>
The Franklin, Tennessee trio will be making their return to the UK for another run of arena shows. Having released their fourth album (‘Paramore’<\/em>) earlier this year to much acclaim, expect Hayley Williams and company to pound their way through the albums highlights; ‘Ain’t It Fun’<\/em>, ‘Grow Up’<\/em> and ‘Still Into You’<\/em> as well as the bands “greatest hits”. With a setlist packed with catchy numbers, we’re sure Paramore<\/strong> will deliver a fun and rememberable night later this month.<\/p>\n

Deafheaven<\/strong>
With momentum from the completely stunning ‘Sunbather’<\/em> LP carrying them strongly, Deafheaven<\/strong>’s October run of UK shows is much anticipated. In ‘Sunbather’<\/em> the San Francisco band have produced an overwhelming mix of brutal metal and atmospheric post-rock-esque numbers that is delivered majestically and with purpose. If this tour is a compelling as Deafheaven<\/strong> are on record, then its certainly not one to miss!<\/p>\n

Letlive. with Night Verses and The American Scene<\/strong>
The rise and rise of LA’s Letlive.<\/strong> is set to continue this October. Having released the fantastic ‘The Blackest Beautiful’<\/em> this year, expectations for the quartets first headline tour are at fever pitch and to make it even better they’re bringing over two of the most promising bands from the States. First you have Night Verses<\/strong> whose ‘Lift Your Existence’<\/em> LP received a five out of five review<\/a> on this very site. The hard rockers will be showcasing their mash of creativity and innovation whilst The American Scene<\/strong> round off the line up. Having made their UK debut earlier this year with The Story So Far<\/strong>, the Californian band will be returning with their brand of reflective alt-rock. This tour promises just enough diversity and a triple threat of tight energetic rock.<\/p>\n
