Whilst a selection of this month\u2019s playlist can be streamed on <a href=\"http:\/\/open.spotify.com\/user\/seanreid\/playlist\/0wDgstQGMSo3TJDYZBeFCw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Spotify<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><strong>Twenty One Pilots &#8211; Holding On To You <\/strong><br \/> With their latest album <em>&lsquo;Vessel&rsquo;<\/em> finally getting a UK release and a return to these shores set to take place early next year, <strong>Twenty One Pilots<\/strong> are the latest act from <strong>Fueled By Ramen<\/strong> and with tracks like <em>&#8216;Holding On To You&rsquo;<\/em> showcasing the bands brand of \u201cSchizoid Pop\u201d I predict you&rsquo;ll be hearing more about this Ohio duo in the coming months. These Piano-led melodies and energetic pop hooks will be lodged in your head for quite some time. Now, this is incredibly catchy stuff. They&rsquo;ve only released EPs and singles so far but in September their debut LP will drop, and I&rsquo;m sure it will come with a health warning along the lines of <em>&ldquo;INCREDIBLY INFECTIOUS&rdquo;<\/em> because I bet my bottom dollar that it will be. Expect some neat little riffs, solos and some wonderful harmonies. You will certainly be hearing more from <strong>Haim<\/strong> soon, I promise you that. It&rsquo;s kind of daydreamy; if your dreams involve galloping horses in Yellowy sundrenched. It&rsquo;s got shades of Battles fighting Adebisi Shank, and definitely one for fans of Axes too. I don&rsquo;t really know what else I could say, guilty pleasure, maybe, but its too good to say no to. So here&rsquo;s an older <strong>Touche Amore<\/strong> song. I skipped <em>&#8216;Don&rsquo;t Exist&rsquo;<\/em> because it&rsquo;s everywhere right now. <strong>TA<\/strong> are one of the strongest and most loved bands in the current scene and I expect their new album (<em>&#8216;Is Survived By&rsquo;<\/em>) to be as killer as their last two. This is just proof of their quality. With precision guitar work, fast sporadic drums and the most guttural of vocals all mixed together to make a seriously heavy song it is <strong>Misery Signals<\/strong> at their finest. If it wasn&rsquo;t for these guys most of the heavy bands people listen to like Architects, BMTH, We Came As Romans, and Blessthefall wouldn&rsquo;t even be around. A pioneering band that is back, on top form and ready to blow the younger competition into smithereens. Many now consider that star to be burnt out, and there&rsquo;s a hole forming at the forefront of the modern metal scene. Step up <strong>Night Verses<\/strong>, who are showing similar levels of promise after releasing their mammoth debut album <em>&#8216;Lift Your Existence&rsquo;<\/em> earlier this year. They&rsquo;re supporting <strong>letlive.<\/strong> on tour next month, and could be one to look out for as potential show-stealers. You&rsquo;ll be hearing a lot from this band in future for sure, so why not start now? Their frenetic nature puts them above the rest and <em>&#8216;Trogloraptor&rsquo;<\/em> showcases the unique talent and abilities this chaotic bunch possess. PS.
