Providing ten songs of grungy, stomping, and at times considerably cheesy post-hardcore.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Throughout <em>\u2018Paul Walker\u2019<\/em> <strong>Drug Chuch <\/strong>maintain a gloriously muddy sound. If you want proof, look no further than the bass intro to <em>\u2018Attending a Cousin\u2019s Birthday Party\u2019.<\/em>\u00a0Not only does this one have a perfectly growling bass guitar sound, something that I will chase to the very ends of the earth, it\u2019s also one of the best tracks on the record full stop.<!-- more --><\/p>\n<p>&amp;amp;amp;lt;a href=&ldquo;http:\/\/drugchurch.bandcamp.com\/album\/paul-walker&rdquo; data-mce-href=&ldquo;http:\/\/drugchurch.bandcamp.com\/album\/paul-walker&rdquo;&amp;amp;amp;gt;Paul Walker by DRUG CHURCH&amp;amp;amp;lt;\/a&amp;amp;amp;gt;<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">At times, disappointingly so in opener <em>\u2018Thinking About Joining Drug Church\u2019<\/em> (and the less said about <em>&lsquo;Donny\u2019s Woods&rsquo;<\/em> the better) the lyrics\/vocals border on the cringeworthy, but that\u2019s certainly not the case on <em>\u2018\u2026Birthday Party&rsquo;,<\/em>\u00a0nor is it an issue for the majority of \u2018<em>Paul Walker\u2019.\u00a0<\/em>A.t times, particularly on the towering <em>\u2018Thrill Hill\u2019<\/em>, Patrick Kindlon\u2019s vocals are unsurpassable, playing a leading role in raising the fist-pumping power of the track to frenzied heights.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">The stomping, grizzled nature of this record is a spectacle in and of itself. Musically simple and yet always interesting, <strong>Drug Church<\/strong> have pulled together an unexpected gem of hardcore melody. Slamming drums, overdriven bass, excellently worked guitars, and vocals that strut up and down through each and every song.
