There\u2019s not really much in the way of an introduction this week. I thought I\u2019d let the below do the \u2018talking\u2019.<\/p>\n<p><em><em>If your label, band or company would like to become a guest writer for\u00a0Something For The Weekend &#8211;\u00a0contact\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:sean@alreadyheard.com\">Sean Reid<\/a>\u00a0to find out more information.<\/em><\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/tumblr_inline_mnnz8wbPZj1qz4rgp.jpg\" alt=\"image\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Boston Manor<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Fans Of: Turnover, Citizen, Run For Cover Records roster<br \/>\n<strong>Boston Manor<\/strong> hail from the Blackpool shores and released their five-track debut EP <em>&#8216;Here\/Now\u2019<\/em> about a month ago now. Immediately you can hear the influences gone into this band (and they even mention certain bands in their lyrics). Essentially, it\u2019s a refreshing British take on an already established American genre. It\u2019s pop-punk, but for an older generation. The EP is available via their Bandcamp for a pay-what-you-want price and I strongly recommend you go download it because I think this band could be one to watch this year.<\/p>\n<p><iframe style=\"border: 0; width: 100%; height: 120px;\" src=\"https:\/\/bandcamp.com\/EmbeddedPlayer\/album=2005016461\/size=large\/bgcol=ffffff\/linkcol=0687f5\/tracklist=false\/artwork=small\/transparent=true\/\" seamless=\"\"><a href=\"http:\/\/nevermendrecords.bandcamp.com\/album\/here-now\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here\/Now by Boston Manor<\/a><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/bostonmanoruk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0\/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bostonmanor.bandcamp.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bandcamp<!-- more --><\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/tumblr_inline_mnnzo9xvhO1qz4rgp.jpg\" alt=\"image\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Crows An Wra<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Fans Of: Ravachol, Baton Rouge.<br \/>\n<strong>Crows An Wra<\/strong> are a new band that everyone should be keeping an eye on. In my opinion, they\u2019re one of the very few UK artists doing the &#8216;skramz\u2019 style well. Not only does their debut record, a self titled 5 track affair, offer the passion you\u2019d expect from this genre, it also lays down some beautifully done melodic guitar work. From the ashes of other incredible UK bands, Crows An Wra arose, and I can almost say I\u2019m happy for the demise of previous bands if this is what came from that. Their record is available to pre-order from a number of labels (UK release, Europe &amp; USA) and having seen a picture of the actual record it self, it\u2019s really worth owning for that alone, but you do have the added fact that the music is incredible so get ordering!<\/p>\n<p>&amp;amp;amp;lt;a href=\u201chttp:\/\/crows-an-wra.bandcamp.com\/album\/crows-an-wra\u201d data-mce-href=\u201chttp:\/\/crows-an-wra.bandcamp.com\/album\/crows-an-wra\u201d&amp;amp;amp;gt;Crows-An-Wra by Crows-An-Wra&amp;amp;amp;lt;\/a&amp;amp;amp;gt;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/crowsanwra\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Facebook<\/a>\u00a0\/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crowsanwra.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Website<\/a>\u00a0\/ <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crows-an-wra.bandcamp.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Bandcamp<\/a><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/tumblr_inline_mnnzaetpFi1qz4rgp.jpg\" alt=\"image\" title=\"\"><\/p>\n<p><strong>Sneeze<\/strong><br \/>\nFor Fans Of: Donovan Wolfington, Weezer.<br \/>\nNow I have no idea how I first came across <strong>Sneeze<\/strong>, but it was instant love. A pop\/punk (more punk) infused lo-fi juncture &#8211; packed with all the grungey sing-a-longs you could ask for. Their record <em>&#8216;I\u2019m Going To Kill Myself\u2019<\/em> was released about a year ago, but is finally seeing its vinyl release in the next month.
