Today Essex powerpop group The Hype Theory<\/strong> release their new album ‘Captives.’ \u00a0 \u00a0<\/em>With bold, upbeat choruses and driving guitar lines, the quintet have produced an anthem-filled record brimming with confidence and plenty of energy.<\/p>\n

We caught up with vocalist Katy Jackson for our latest edition of “If I…”<\/strong> The singer told us which 90’s pop group she’d like to see reform, which Florida pop-rockers she’d like to play with and much more.<\/p>\n

KJ: Pure Pop – I’d be the next Taylor Swift. <\/em><\/p>\n

KJ: ‘Bones’ by Young Guns.<\/em><\/p>\n

KJ: Queens’ ‘Greatest Hits’ album (I’m not sure if that counts!)<\/em><\/p>\n

KJ: Reading and Leeds.<\/em><\/p>\n

KJ: Mayday Parade, Limp Bizkit, Blink 182, Sleeping With Sirens, Young Guns, Deaf Havana, oh and Cascada for a laugh.<\/em><\/p>\n
