But that shouldn\u2019t put people off \u2013 instead, the stranger a genre, the more intrigued the listener and I was definitely intrigued upon listening to RAD!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Hailing from Los Angeles, RAD!<\/strong> have been bringing their “party metal” to their fans for a while now before releasing their EP \u2018Party Animals\u2019<\/em>, containing a roaring six tracks. Short intro \u2018From Which We Were Born\u2019<\/em> ignites energy levels, before diving into \u2018Balthazar\u2019<\/em> \u2013 only a sweet three minutes long, an onslaught of blistering riffs explode upon the opening chords, blended with demonic drumming.<\/span><\/p>\n

&lt;a href=“http:\/\/omgitsrad.bandcamp.com\/album\/party-animals” data-mce-href=“http:\/\/omgitsrad.bandcamp.com\/album\/party-animals”&gt;Party Animals by Rad!&lt;\/a&gt;<\/p>\n

\u2018Doc Holiday Inn\u2019<\/em> and \u2018Night Of The Living Dead\u2019<\/em> contain huge, meaty (no horse meat, I promise) slabs of punchy rock attitude, laced with abrasive vocals. \u2018Keystroke Folklore\u2019<\/em> is a raw, rough-edged punk rock track, while closing title track \u2018Party Animals\u2019<\/em> ends with gritty riffs and hostile, guttural vocals.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2018Party Animals\u2019<\/em> is a solid bruiser of an EP, and a rather strong footing for RAD<\/strong>!<\/strong> It may not be everyone\u2019s cup of tea, but you should definitely check them out if you have a soft spot for hardcore mixed with a real punk rock attitude.<\/span><\/p>\n
