\"\"The nominations for the Brit Awards 2013<\/strong> have been announced with Muse<\/strong>, Alt-J<\/strong>, Mumford & Sons<\/strong> and Fun<\/strong>. being just some of the acts to receive nominations.<\/p>\n

Muse<\/strong>, Alt-J<\/strong> and Mumford & Sons<\/strong> are nominated for Best British Group alongside The XX<\/strong> and One Direction<\/strong>, whilst Muse<\/strong> and\u00a0Mumford & Sons<\/strong> have also been nominated for Best Live Act along with Coldplay<\/strong>, The Vaccines<\/strong> and legendary rockers The Rolling Stones<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Mercury Award winners Alt-J<\/strong> received three nominations overall having also been nominated for Best British Album and British Breakthrough.<\/p>\n

Whilst Fun.<\/strong> cap off a remarkable year by receiving a nomination for Best International Group and face competition from The Black Keys<\/strong>, The Killers<\/strong>, The Script<\/strong>, and\u00a0Alabama Shakes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The Brit Awards<\/strong> take place on February 20 at London’s O2 Arena. Muse<\/strong>, One Direction<\/strong>, Robbie Williams<\/strong>, Emeli Sande<\/strong>, Mumford & Sons<\/strong> and Ben Howard<\/strong> will be performing at the event.\u00a0<\/p>\n
