Chase and Status<\/strong> (Saul Milton and Will Kennard) have announced plans to open a free music school.<\/p>\n

The school will be for students aged 16-19 with courses from music performance to music technology, and will be based in the\u00a0Tower Hamlets area of East London.<\/p>\n

The East London Academy of Music is a Brit School project and is supported by the British Phonographic Industry<\/strong> (BPI)<\/p>\n

The school is due to open in September 2014 and is one of 35 projects that have been announced\u00a0the New Schools Network, a government-funded charity body that offers financial and organisational assistance to a people looking to set up free schools independently.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
