And as the quintet gears up to release their brand new EP <em>\u2018New Horizons\u2019<\/em> on Monday 15 October, here at Already Heard, we thought we\u2019d have a listen to this up-and-coming rock band.<\/p>\n<p>They kick-start the EP with single <em>\u2018Four Words\u2019<\/em> \u2013 they crank up the tempo straight away, playing blistering riffs that burn with unspent talent. Karl Ficarotta\u2019s vocals soar effortlessly as he roars about how \u201c<em>You were never left behind.\u201d<\/em> A raw yet emotive start to \u2018New Horizons\u2019, <strong>A Tale of Two Cities<\/strong> have set a high standard.<!-- more --><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Moving onto \u2018<em>Familiar Traits\u2019,<\/em> it\u00a0doesn&#8217;t\u00a0seem as if this quintet are slowing down anytime soon. The monster bassline roars furiously, while demonic and power-hungry drumming underlies this fantastic track. During<em> \u2018Fire Burning Through Our Wings\u2019<\/em>, Ficarotta\u2019s vocals are as strong as ever and <strong>A Tale of Two Cities<\/strong> refuse to let up as they close off with \u2018<em>Machine\u2019<\/em> which features low, guttural screams: a fitting end to such a solid EP.<\/p>\n<p><strong>A Tale Of Two Cities<\/strong> have proven that <em>\u2018New Horizons\u2019<\/em> is an emotive yet pretty much flawless EP.
