\"\"Having recently released their Topshelf Records<\/strong> debut in the form of ‘Don\u2019t Take Our Filth Away,’<\/em> Portland, Oregon’s Duck. Little Brother, Duck!\u00a0<\/strong>have a chaotic and dynamic sound that perfectly fits the Topshelf mould. Tracks like ’Everybody Loves Screamo’<\/em> and ‘If I Didn’t Have My Press Badge’<\/em> are rugged and\u00a0sporadic\u00a0in\u00a0structure.<\/p>\n

Kyle S: Some stripped down weirdo stuff. Like Unwound or Lowercase, or that second Blonde Redhead record.
Kyle P: Something kinda shoegaze-y or emo-ish.<\/em><\/p>\n

Kyle S: All Tomorrow’s Parties (even though that makes no sense.)<\/em><\/p>\n

Kyle S: Faraquet reunion, Unwound reunion, Black Eyes reunion, fuck new bands.
Kyle P: All of the above, and June of 44, old Cursive, and Can.<\/em><\/p>\n

If I could play any other instrument, it would be…<\/strong>
Kyle S: Drums or trumpet.
Kyle P: Piano or violin.<\/em><\/p>\n

If I could give one piece of advice to a new band, it would be…<\/strong>
Kyle S: Work hard, write music you want to write. Don’t try to appeal to anything, that’s boring. Go on tour.
Kyle P: Eat Right, Sleep Right, Learn to have good time. (No, not “A” good time. “Good Time”)<\/em><\/p>\n
