Her new release <em>\u2018Runaway\u2019<\/em> offers beautiful\u00a0track after beautiful track, making this EP a perfect soundtrack for a relaxed day.<\/p>\n<p>Signature track <em>\u2018Runaway\u2019<\/em> is featured twice on the four track release, treating fans to both\u00a0the original and acoustic versions. The pristine harmonies and cross over vocals in the\u00a0original recording give this song real character, not to mention the uplifting sound that is\u00a0created overall. The acoustic version is just as outstanding, taking a more tranquil take on\u00a0the track with crisper acoustics and Portia\u2019s talents continuing to shine.<!-- more --><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><em>\u2018Little White Lies\u2019<\/em> deserves particular praise recorded live at Egypt Lane Studios. Portia\u2019s\u00a0raw talent excels here and her peaceful sounds work fantastically as usual but this time\u00a0with slightly softer acoustic guitar. <em>\u2018The Sound\u2019<\/em> is yet another great track, keeping in tone\u00a0with the peaceful nature of the record but with choruses matching the similar uplifting feel\u00a0of <em>\u2018Runaway\u2019.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p>Portia Conn\u2019s talents are somewhat astounding with her soothing vocals making <em>\u2018Runaway\u2019<\/em>\u00a0a true success of a record.
