This week we explore two sides of the emo spectrum with the twinkly goodness of <strong>Nai Harvest<\/strong> and the crushing aggression of <strong>I Don&rsquo;t Want To Know Why The Caged Bird Sings<\/strong>. We also have super catchy pop punk from London&rsquo;s <strong>Rivalries<\/strong> to help lighten the mood.<\/p>\n<p>As per usual, if you want to be involved with a future edition of SFTW feel free to get in touch with us at <a href=\"mailto:Richard@alreadyheard.com\" target=\"_blank\">Richard@AlreadyHeard.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Nai Harvest<\/strong><br \/>FFO: Algernon Cadwaller, Football Etc, and Snowing.<\/p>\n<p>Nai Harvest differ from many of the current UK emo bands in the sense that this is a two piece. The White Stripes of emo? Not really. Nai Harvest play twinky, shouty emo with strangely catchy hooks. Having already shared splits with Manbearpig, <a href=\"http:\/\/naiharvest.bandcamp.com\/album\/split-w-papay-r\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Papayar<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/naiharvest.bandcamp.com\/album\/split-w-five-leaf-nettles\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Five Leaf Nettles<\/a> and Reno Dakota amongst others it seems like the only way is up for this Sheffield band. In the short time they&rsquo;ve been functioning as a band they&rsquo;ve established an impressive fan base, landing them shows with The Menzingers and Pacer. Their first EP <em><a href=\"http:\/\/rivalriesarefun.bandcamp.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">&lsquo;Built To Last&rsquo;<\/a><\/em> was recently re-released by <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/SameBothSides\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Same Both Sides Records<\/a><\/strong>. I don&rsquo;t know, but listening to I Don&rsquo;t Want To Know&hellip; makes you think that it should be. Mixing pure emotion with unbridled aggression, I Don&rsquo;t Want To Know&hellip; should be able to hold their own at any Hardcore \/ Metal \/ Emo show. It isn&rsquo;t often you find a band with that amount of crossover appeal.
