Luckily for <strong>Pierce the Veil,<\/strong> \u2019<em>Collide With the Sky\u2019<\/em> lives up to expectations and the hard work and determination put into their musical career is leading to nothing but deserved triumph.<!-- more --><\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">The unique sounds of vocalist Vic Fuentes really add to the success of the record, showing off his varied and enviable vocal abilities throughout; a definite asset to the band. This doesn\u2019t mean to say that his other three bandmates should go unrecognised, with each individual in the quartet communicating their raw talent through infectious melodies and captivating riffs.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">Guest appearances on the album have been chosen perfectly, with vocal contributions from Sleeping with Siren\u2019s Kellin Quinn in <em>\u2018King For a Day\u2019<\/em> and letlive\u2019s Jason Butler in <em>\u2018Tangled in the Great Escape\u2019. <\/em>Both vocalists are known for their uniqueness and add to the refreshing and distinctive sounds already present in the record.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">\u2018<em>Bulls in The Bronx\u2019<\/em> is a signature track that perfectly executes Pierce the Veil\u2019s bold \u2018mexicore\u2019 trademark sound, steering from their hardcore influences and experimenting with Latino styles near to the end of the track. This combination works surprisingly well, giving Pierce the Veil a distinguishing edge from others in the post-hardcore scene with their uplifting take on the genre.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><em>\u2018Collide with the Sky\u2019<\/em> takes the listener on a whirlwind journey that starts with fast-paced energetic tracks that predominantly include roared and sung vocals and leads out to a second half of slower and calmer tracks. This mixture reflects Pierce the Veil\u2019sdiverse musical abilities and is the reason why their third full-length album has come to be such a success.
