Wild Throne<\/b> aren\u2019t your average band. A three-headed beast brought together by a love of the dark and uncomfortable, the Washington-based band have already been causing enough of a stir within the metal world to attract the attention of legendary label Roadrunner.<\/p>\n

With that sort of backing you would think their full length debut \u2018Harvest Of Darkness\u2019<\/i> would more than definitely live up to the hype. You wouldn\u2019t be wrong.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n

Animalistic and unrestrained in delivery, Wild Throne<\/b> draw on a plethora of influences in their breakneck-paced and punishing compositions. Combining the bravery and melody that defined the NWOBHM movement with blasts of modern day noisemakers, the band take you on a spiraling journey into their world of madness.<\/p>\n

The sporadic Deftones-esque delicacy and intensity of \u2018Death Of A Star\u2019<\/i>, The Protest The Hero-styled head battery of \u2018Born To Die\u2019<\/i>, The Dillinger Escape Plan-tinged intricacy of \u2018Shadow Deserts\u2019<\/i>. It all comes together to create an album of intense depth and musical knowledge. What could be a huge error of judgement and be nothing more than a splattering of different sounds moulded together horribly is instead brimming with intelligent songwriting and exquisitely delivered little moments just waiting to be uncovered.<\/p>\n

\u2018Harvest Of Darkness\u2019<\/i> doesn\u2019t half take the air out of your lungs. Jumping from style to style with no regard for your wellbeing or sanity, Wild Throne<\/b> have created an album that will shape shift into something new and exciting every time you attempt to digest it, and that\u2019s something not many bands can genuinely say they have achieved.<\/p>\n
