Whilst their sound has changed and developed throughout the years, now onto their sixth album it\u2019s clear backing down is not an option. Picking off from where 2014\u2019s <i>\u2018Void\u2019<\/i> left off, <i>\u2018All Hell\u2019<\/i> proves they\u2019re still as pissed off as ever and not afraid to show it.<\/p>\n<p>Kicking off with <i>\u2018Paranoia Euphoria\u2019<\/i>, Davey Muise\u2019s vocals still as vicious as before but perhaps more notably melodic than the previous album. Their ability to perfect the balance between clean and unclean vocals is still as evident as ever as it is not a quality commonly seen amongst bands in the same genre. <i>\u2018Pretty Grim\u2019<\/i> follows a very similar structure to the previous track but the addition of an anthemic chorus bound to be a crowd pleaser stands out.<\/p>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<p>Though the whole blah-blah <i>\u201cfuck the world\u201d<i> and <i>\u201ceverything is corrupt\u201d<\/i> concept is hugely overdone in metalcore alone, <b>Vanna<\/b> manage to do it in their own pleasing and angry fashion, especially in <i>\u2018Circle The Flame\u2019<\/i> which borders on religious ideologies. <i>\u2018Flower\u2019<\/i> is heartfelt and passionate while still bold in its approach, finishing off with a soft acoustic sequence \u2013 definitely a stand-out for the soppy listener like myself.<\/i><\/i><\/p>\n<p>The following tracks follow a similar rawness to one another \u2013 most notably <i>\u2018Reaping a Whirlwind\u2019<\/i> which is carried by hard hitting drum-work and more brutal vocal work reminiscent of the previous album. Ending the album, <i>\u2018Lead Balloon\u2019<\/i> begins with a pleasing bendy riff and is once again powerful with its lyricism. This track in itself definitely leaves you wanting more.<\/p>\n<p>Clich\u00e9 as it is, <b>Vanna<\/b> have certainly matured from their previous material and managed to maintain but develop elements.
