Some pick up right where they left off, others don\u2019t. For a band like <b>Thrice<\/b>, it\u2019s no surprise they\u2019ve done the former. <i>\u2018To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere\u2019<\/i> is the band\u2019s first output in five years and sees the Californian four-piece serving up their most accomplished album to date.<\/p>\n<p>Balanced out by an apocalyptic undertone and ethereal alt-rock dynamic, <i>&#8216;TBEITBN\u2019<\/i> flows with ease. From the stirring opener <i>&#8216;Hurricane\u2019<\/i> to the impassioned <i>&#8216;Blood on the Sand\u2019<\/i> to the tender finale of <i>&#8216;Salt and Shadow,\u2019<\/i> <b>Thrice<\/b> supply you with an enthralling and engaging collection.<\/p>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<p>Overlaid by subtly cinematic production, every song on offer is crafted with precision, making you engulf everything Thrice have to offer. On songs such as <i>&#8216;Whistleblower\u2019<\/i> and <i>&#8216;Blood on The Sand,\u2019<\/i> Dustin Kensrue\u2019s raw vocals take charge through soaring choruses with guitar lines to match. Whilst <i>&#8216;The Long Distance\u2019<\/i> and <i>&#8216;Black Honey\u2019<\/i> highlight their ability to grab hold of the listeners attention intimately before rewarding them with fine execution. It\u2019s a trait that Thrice perfectly pulls off repeatedly.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout cuts such as <i>&#8216;Stay With Me\u2019<\/i> and <i>&#8216;Death From Above\u2019<\/i> thrive off the band\u2019s overwhelming wall of sound, simply adding to the album\u2019s brilliance.<\/p>\n<p>As an \u201cAlbum of the Year\u201d contender, <b>Thrice<\/b> has raised the bar. Even after the twentieth listen, <i>&#8216;To Be Everywhere Is To Be Nowhere\u2019<\/i> is a delight to hear. The sequencing, the song craftsmanship, the musicianship and the raw vocal display makes for one of the most satisfying records you\u2019ll hear all year.
