Along with rebooting and introducing The Movielife to a new generation of pop punk fans and always having something I Am The Avalanche based up his sleeve, the man with the velvet voice somehow has time to fit in some solo tunes as well.<\/p>\n<p>Like most of the music that <b>Vinnie<\/b> writes, <i>&lsquo;Survivor\u2019s Guilt&rsquo;<\/i> feels very nautical in approach. As fresh as a coastal breeze and calming as the waves crashing against the shore, his follow up to 13\u2019s <i>\u2018City By The Sea\u2019<\/i> is a record of two halves. The first is fuelled on late nights and blurry mornings. Built on the foundations of good times and the making of memories. The other is held together by broken hearts and overthinking. This contrast of very human emotions being poured into his music makes for a potent mix of inspiring and desolating storytelling.<\/p>\n<p><!-- more --><\/p>\n<p>The rollicking punk rock undertones of <i>\u2018Burn It Down\u2019<\/i> is a stark contrast to the simmering love letter vibes of <i>\u2018Angel Of The North\u2019<\/i> whilst <i>\u2018Under My Side Of The Bed\u2019<\/i> is a bittersweet heartbreaker which stands toe to toe with the sunshine soaked <i>\u2018Heavy Lies The Summer\u2019<\/i>. <b>Vinnie<\/b> paints vivid pictures overflowing with heart in each resonating chord he plucks and places you bang in the middle of the experiences and issues that have inspired him to write such memorable and enjoyable music. <\/p>\n<p><i>\u2018Survivor\u2019s Guilt\u2019<\/i> cements, if it needed to be set in stone anymore, <b>Vinnie Caruana<\/b> as one of the most talented songwriters our scene has at its disposal and proves that even almost 20 years into his career as a musician, the boy hasn\u2019t lost any of the spirit, passion or pride that resonates so strongly in the music that he pens.
