To some John Feldmann<\/strong> is known as the frontman of 90s skate-punks Goldfinger<\/strong>. To others, he\u2019s the man who has worked behind the board on a whole host of releases. blink-182<\/strong>, Good Charlotte<\/strong>, All Time Low<\/strong>, Sleeping With Sirens<\/strong>, The Used<\/strong>, Stick To Your Guns<\/strong>, Black Veil Brides<\/strong>, The Faim<\/strong>, One OK Rock<\/strong>, and most recently, State Champs<\/strong>, are just some of the bands where Feldmann<\/strong> has sprinkled his producing and songwriting magic on.<\/p>\n

Even though Goldfinger<\/strong> hasn’t been too active in recent years, last summer saw them return with ‘The Knife’<\/em>. Full of summery pop-punk and ska-punk cuts, it was a reminder of Feldmann’s abilities as a performer. It\u2019s also no surprise that it saw Feldmann<\/strong> rope in some familiar faces; blink-182’s Travis Barker and Mark Hoppus, MxPx<\/strong>‘s Mike Herrera, and Josh Dun of Twenty One Pilots<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

This weekend, Feldmann<\/strong> will be once again stepping in front of the mic as Goldfinger<\/strong> will be returning to the Slam Dunk Festival<\/strong> for the second year runnings.<\/p>\n
