Fast-forward to the present day and the quartet are now releasing their fourth EP &#8211;<em>\u00a0&#8216;More To Me Than Misery&#8217;<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Having firmly conquered the usual pop-punk traits in the past, <em>&#8216;MTMTM&#8217;<\/em> highlights a lyrical maturity from quartet, adding a gritty undertone to the band&#8217;s sound. Over the course of its six songs, vocalist Charlie Boughton provides an honest narrative as he reflects on what he has described <em>&#8220;possibly the best and worst year of my life&#8221;<\/em>.\u00a0Songs such as\u00a0<em>&#8216;Coming Clean&#8217;<\/em>,<em> &#8216;Yours Truly&#8217;<\/em> and\u00a0<em>&#8216;Change of Heart&#8217;\u00a0<\/em>sees\u00a0Boughton and his bandmates\u00a0band explore the pitfalls of searching for happiness in love and life.<\/p>\n<p>Having been part of a thriving UK pop-punk scene in recent years, Charlie has curated a playlist he considers the best of we have to offer, in terms of pop-punk. From trailblazers to previous tour buddies, <strong>Homebound<\/strong> have picked out an all-round stellar list of UK pop-punk favourites.<\/p>\n<p><iframe src=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/embed\/user\/alreadyhearduk\/playlist\/3Za63sMvOpRCQoJ7Le1dzF\" width=\"100%\" height=\"380\" frameborder=\"0\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2>As It Is &#8211; The Wounded World<\/h2>\n<p>I really dig the post-hardcore vibes on this track and the general change in direction with their new material.<\/p>\n<h2>Boston Manor &#8211; CU<\/h2>\n<p>Probably the most exciting band around at the moment. I\u2019ve always been a big fan. One of my favourites from this very good record (<em>&#8216;Be Nothing&#8217;<\/em>).<\/p>\n<h2>Decade &#8211; Turn Off Your TV<\/h2>\n<p>A highly under-appreciated band because this album (<em>&#8216;<\/em><span class=\"LrzXr kno-fv\"><em>Pleasantries&#8217;<\/em>)<\/span>\u00a0is awesome.<\/p>\n<h2>Fullshore &#8211; Wine<\/h2>\n<p>I came across these guys a while back when they opened a show we played and really liked what I heard. I hope to hear more from them.<\/p>\n<h2>Futures &#8211; Sal Paradise<\/h2>\n<p>A serious throwback but what a band they were!<\/p>\n<h2>Gnarwolves &#8211; Melody Has Big Plans<\/h2>\n<p>I was very into this when it dropped. It\u2019s still one of their best in my opinion.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\/tag\/neck-deep\/\">Neck Deep<\/a> &#8211; Over and Over<\/h2>\n<p>This track still rips and it can\u2019t be understated what this band did for the UK scene.<\/p>\n<h2>ROAM &#8211; Over Your Head<\/h2>\n<p>I always really liked this track, there\u2019s some really cool melodies and sections throughout.<\/p>\n<h2>Save Your Breath &#8211; Nothing Worth Having Comes Easy<\/h2>\n<p>Arguably the best UK pop-punk song there is. <em>&#8216;Vices&#8217;<\/em> and Save Your Breath deserved better.<\/p>\n<h2>Trash Boat &#8211; Nothing New<\/h2>\n<p>We played some of our first ever shows together, and always have a great time touring with them. Their new record rips and they deserve everything they\u2019re doing.<\/p>\n<h2>Weatherstate &#8211; Bad Habits<\/h2>\n<p>We ripped many a gig back in the day with these boys. One of their many bangers.<\/p>\n<h2>WSTR &#8211; South Drive<\/h2>\n<p>We played a few shows here and there with these back when they toured this EP (<em>&#8216;SKRWD&#8217;<\/em>). This was definitely a favourite.<\/p>\n<h2>WOES &#8211; Be Alone<\/h2>\n<p>This has a great chorus.
