The abundance of satisfying guitar amp feedback throughout\u00a0the album ensures each track effortlessly flows into one another.<\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Motivate Me&#8217;<\/em> on the other hand is the breeziest, radio-friendly venture of their discography yet, retaining their unique charm and whimsy with the guitar harmonics as the primary hook.\u00a0The simplistic repeated vocal lines that made <strong>Doe<\/strong>&#8216;s previous material so instantly catchy are still here, albeit toned down in favour of stronger songwriting.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Doe - Labour like I Do\" width=\"800\" height=\"450\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/yV1zFzm2wWc?feature=oembed&#038;enablejsapi=1&#038;origin=https:\/\/alreadyheard.com\/staging\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>The mantra <em>&#8220;you never worry &#8217;cause you never have to, give me what I give&#8221; <\/em>on<em> &#8216;Labour Like I Do&#8217;<\/em> hits the nail on the head when relating to a one-sided relationship, where one partner puts in all the effort and the other fails to reciprocate.<\/p>\n<p>There&#8217;s a strong sense of careful venting behind <strong>Doe\u2019s\u00a0<\/strong>lyric choices, but they thankfully don&#8217;t come across as whiny or melodramatic in the slightest.
