Ever the consummate professionals, this eleventh addition to their extensive catalogue is more of the same fantastically contagious anthems you\u2019ll be happy to chant back alongside the classics, should you catch them live before they call it a day.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cDo you really wanna do this now?\u201d<\/i> asks iconic frontman Joe Elliott in opening lead single <i>\u2018Let\u2019s Go\u2019<\/i>, a storming credit to their near four decade history, as contagious as ever and laced with powerful guitar work from the ever professional Collen and Campbell duo. Punchy and anthemic, <i>\u2018Dangerous\u2019<\/i> thrusts its chest out with an unforgettably sassy demeanour, offsetting the brooding <i>\u2018Man Enough\u2019<\/i>, contrastingly understated in its seduction<!-- more -->.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<p><i>\u201cSometimes I feel I don\u2019t belong here, sometimes I just don\u2019t want to feel,\u201d<\/i> laments <i>\u2018We Belong\u2019<\/i>, an insular and dejected tinge to an otherwise definite ballad. Colliding with the sultry tones and lyrical mastery of <i>\u2018Invincible\u2019<\/i>, consistently timeless electric reflections burst through the way they always have. <i>\u2018Sea of Love\u2019<\/i> holds its sass and competent groove close to its chest, confidently infused with electric rainbows woven between indomitable drummer Rick Allen\u2019s consistent backing.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u2018All Time High\u2019<\/i>, the <i>\u201cposter boy for bad behaviour\u201d<\/i> joins the ranks bursting with character, drawing comparison with the acoustically conflicted <i>\u2018Battle of My Own\u2019<\/i>, pulling punches way above the power expected from a band that\u2019s outlived the majority of their generation. <i>\u2018Broke \u2018n\u2019 Brokenhearted\u2019<\/i> emerges unexpectedly optimistic in its beat, threatening to <i>\u201chuff, puff and blow your playhouse down\u201d<\/i>, anthemic and definitive of their continuing success \u2013 it\u2019s nothing revolutionary, but why should it be?<\/p>\n<p>Heartbreaking in its acoustic reflection, <i>\u2018Last Dance\u2019<\/i> maintains <b>Def Lep<\/b>\u2019s immortal reputation of ballads meant for tear-jerking no matter what situation you find yourself in.
