It’s considered today is the last “big week” of new releases for 2018. And oh boy, is it an impressive list of albums and EPs.<\/p>\n

For starters, the\u00a0Smashing Pumpkins<\/strong> continue their reunion with the release of the awkwardly titled ‘Shiny And Oh So Bright, Vol. 1 \/ LP: No Past. No Future. No Sun’<\/em>.\u00a0There are also returns from Memphis May Fire<\/strong><\/a>, Can’t Swim<\/strong>,\u00a0Andrew McMahon In The Wildness<\/strong>, Oxygen Thief<\/strong>, and\u00a0P.O.D.<\/strong>,<\/p>\n

While there are highly recommended debut full-lengths from itoldyouiwouldeatyou<\/strong><\/a> and\u00a0Catch Fire<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

If you’re looking for emerging talent then releases\u00a0Phoxjaw<\/strong>,\u00a0Soeur<\/strong>,\u00a0Portrayal Of Guilt<\/strong>,\u00a0Castlefield<\/strong><\/a> and Karg<\/strong> aren’t\u00a0to be ignored.<\/p>\n

One final noteworthy release is the retrospective collection from the late Chris Cornell<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
