With their new album,\u00a0‘Freak of Nature’<\/em>, due to be released on May 26th,\u00a0Heart Attack Man<\/strong><\/a> has shared its latest single – ‘Stick Up’.<\/em><\/p>\n

“\u2018Stick Up\u2019 represents beginning to stand up for myself more and being assertive.\u201d<\/em><\/h2>\n

While the trio are known for their aggressive brand of melodic punk rock,\u00a0‘Stick Up’<\/em> is a more airy affair. Carried by an addictive, plucky hook, the track’s chorus sees frontman Eric Egan express his frustration in life.<\/p>\n

\u00a0\u201c\u2019Stick Up\u2019 came from a place of having reached a point of dissatisfaction with the outlook I had on the world and my general attitude,”<\/em> Egan explains. “I was a lot more passive and allowed myself to be at the mercy of however things unfolded when I was younger. \u2018Stick Up\u2019 represents beginning to stand up for myself more and being assertive.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
