With the release of their new album,\u00a0‘But Here We Are’<\/em>, fast approaching on June 2nd,\u00a0Foo Fighters<\/strong> have released a third track from it.<\/p>\n

It’s called\u00a0‘Show Me How’<\/em> and sees the rockers take a more serene dream pop approach. While Dave Grohl’s daughter, Violet Grohl, lends her voice to add to the track’s ethereal tone.<\/p>\n

Lyrically, it sees Dave Grohl looking for help as he looks to take responsibility following the death of the late drummer Taylor Hawkins. Just like ‘Under You’<\/a> <\/em>and ‘Rescued’<\/em><\/a>, \u00a0‘Show Me How’<\/em> continues the considerably expected theme of mourning the loss of Hawkins.<\/p>\n

The release of the track follows last weekend’s news that Josh Freese would be joining\u00a0Foo Fighters<\/strong> on drums.<\/p>\n

Who is Foo Fighters’ new drummer?<\/h2>\n

Josh Freese was revealed as\u00a0Foo Fighters<\/strong>‘ new drummer during a free global streaming event –\u00a0‘Preparing Music For Concerts’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The 50-year-old drummer has had a long and diverse history. From being a member of\u00a0The Vandals<\/strong>, A Perfect Circle<\/strong>, and Devo<\/strong>, to being the touring drummer for Guns N\u2019 Roses<\/strong>, Nine Inch Nails<\/strong>,\u00a0Sting<\/strong>,\u00a0Weezer<\/strong>, the Replacements<\/strong>, Danny Elfman<\/strong>, and Paramore<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

As a session drummer, he has an extensive list of appearances that includes\u00a0The Offspring<\/strong>,\u00a0Evanescence<\/strong>,\u00a0Good Charlotte<\/strong>,\u00a0Bruce Springsteen<\/strong>, Static-X<\/strong>,\u00a0Hollywood Undead<\/strong>, Michael Bubl\u00e9<\/strong>,\u00a0Rob Zombie<\/strong>, Avril Lavigne<\/strong>, Miley Cyrus<\/strong>, and\u00a0100 gecs<\/strong>. However, he does not play on Foo Fighters<\/strong>‘ new album,\u00a0‘But Here We Are’<\/em>, as it has been confirmed<\/a> Dave Grohl recorded drums on the album.<\/p>\n

Josh Freese played his first show as\u00a0Foo Fighters<\/strong>‘ drummer last night (May 24th) in New Hampshire.<\/p>\n
