As the road to the Download Festival<\/b> becomes shorter by the day, we will be speaking to a whole host of acts from this years festival about what to expect from them at Download<\/b> 2015.<\/i><\/p>\n

Ever since their debut album ‘Good Luck’<\/i> was released in early 2014, it seems Bath’s Decade<\/b> have lived on the road. Yet at Download<\/b> they’re going to be previewing their second album with new material. Although little is known about the as yet untitled, we do know Decade<\/b> will pull in an always impressive set with their mix of big hooks and brash, upbeat sound.<\/p>\n

As they prepare to grace Jake’s Stage this Friday, we spoke to vocalist Alex Sears.<\/p>\n

AH: Why should fans check you out at Download?<\/b>
Alex: Every band ever says “because we always give it 110% and we make sure everyone has a great time!” which is both impossible and unrealistic. We\u2019re playing new songs from our as yet untitled second album which is exciting.<\/i><\/p>\n

AH: What can we expect from your set?<\/b>
Alex: Songs, some guitars, a bit of drums, maybe even a bit of chatting in between songs. We\u2019ll see. If anyone wants to bring along some inflatable stage props that\u2019d be awesome, as we can\u2019t afford that stuff.<\/i><\/p>\n

AH: What other bands are you looking forward to seeing?<\/b>
Alex: Slipknot and Marilyn Manson. Slipknot are probably the best metal band on the planet and I really want to watch the crowd when Marilyn Manson play ‘Fight Song’.<\/i><\/p>\n

AH: What are your memories of previous Download Festivals?<\/b>
Alex: I went when I was 16 and watched Bring Me The Horizon before they were famous. They\u2019re much better now. I also had one of those phones that keeps it\u2019s battery life for about six years which was great. I predict that my iPhone will die on the drive up.<\/i><\/p>\n

AH: What advice would you give to people attending Download Festival?<\/b>
Alex: Rock and roll all night and part of every day. And bring baby wipes.<\/i><\/p>\n

AH: Do you have anything else you\u2019d like to say?<\/b>
Alex: If you see our guitarist Joe, chances are he\u2019ll be shit faced so make sure you buy him another beer.<\/i><\/p>\n

Decade<\/b> will be appearing on Jake’s Stage at 6:00pm pm on Fridau June 12th.<\/p>\n
