It&#8217;s their first taste of new music since 2021&#8217;s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/open.spotify.com\/album\/1WCBgD88Cjc1pEDN5iZX4v?si=-WYtlpGtS9a0p_JCAljvtQ\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>&#8216;A Disconnect&#8217;<\/em><\/a>. The track itself is a ferocious and emotive number, detailing the feeling of letting go of that poisonous person in your life.<\/p>\n<p>On &#8216;Piece of Hell&#8217;,\u00a0<strong>The Hyena Kill<\/strong>\u00a0vocalist\/guitarist Steven Dobb commented <em>&#8220;Our new single &#8216;Piece Of Hell\u2019 is taken from our forthcoming new album. It\u2019s such an aggressive tune and feels like a return to our roots but gives nothing away as to the overall sound of the record. We&#8217;ve been playing it live for a while now and it\u2019s as cathartic as it gets when we start ripping. It&#8217;s even got a shredding solo which is a first for The Hyena Kill.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>&#8216;Piece of Hell&#8217;s<\/em> accompanying video is equally chaotic and was created by Ash Tubb, lead singer and guitarist in Sugar Horse. Even though the finished visual was an accident. <em>&#8220;It\u2019s just us jamming in our grubby rehearsal room subjected to Ash\u2019s absolutely mental visuals. According to him (Ash), he made a mistake and everything got layered all at once creating this trippy effect,&#8221;<\/em> explained Dobb. <em>&#8220;To paraphrase the Lord Bob Ross, I love happy accidents like that. Can&#8217;t thank him enough for helping us out.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s the first track to be released from their forthcoming third album. According to the band&#8217;s label, <strong>APF Records<\/strong>, it will be called <em>\u2018The Process\u2019<\/em> and should be released next year.
