With less than a month until to the release of ‘Calling The Dogs’<\/em>,\u00a0Citizen\u00a0<\/strong>have shared a third track from the album. ‘When I Let You Down’\u00a0<\/em>continues the lyrical honesty previous singles,\u00a0‘Hyper Trophy’<\/a><\/em> and\u00a0‘If You’re Lonely’<\/em><\/a>, showcased.<\/p>\n

The song examines Citizen<\/strong> vocalist Mat Kerekes\u2019 relationships as he reminisces on old memories, apathetically leaving his past behind, while friends of his are frozen in time and going through the motions.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen you talk to an old friend and they can only say, \u2018remember when,\u2019 it makes me really sad. It\u2019s a very subtle way of showing the friendship has died,\u201d<\/em> Kerekes shared. \u201cSome people are a bit lost in life and this song is to encourage them to move on from the past and make new memories.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
