Just weeks removed from releasing a double EP set, ‘MoonEater’<\/em> and\u00a0‘SoulEater’<\/em>,\u00a0Magnolia Park<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>are getting in the mood for All Hallows’ Eve by announcing a new album.\u00a0‘Halloween Mixtape II’<\/em> is set to be released on 27th October via\u00a0Epitaph<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The sequel to 2021’s first instalment<\/a> promises to expand the band’s trademark hook-laden sound, taking in elements of magnetic pop, punk, nu-metal, hip-hop, phonk<\/a> and 2000s theater-emo. Furthermore, ‘Halloween Mixtape II’<\/em> further develops the narratives built around Magnolia Park<\/strong>\u2019s fictional universe and its characters: Baku, Heart Eater, SoulEater, Dream Eater, MoonEater, Pumpkin Eater, and the Reaper.<\/p>\n

The album includes a variety of guest spots including\u00a0nothing,nowhere<\/strong>,\u00a0Kailee Morgue<\/strong>,\u00a0Ethan Ross<\/strong>, and\u00a0PLVTINUM<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Complementing the album announcement, Magnolia Park<\/strong> have debuted a video for a new track – ‘Animal<\/em>‘. It sees the Florida quintet team up with rapper Ethan Ross and dark-pop singer PLVTINUM to produce a dynamic industrial-meets-nu-metal blast.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe song came together organically because we did it in only a couple of hours,\u201d<\/em> guitarist\/songwriter Tristan Torres says. \u201cIt’s such a weird collaboration, but it works so well and sounds so cool. We got to do the video all together too – we all flew out to LA and we got to hang out and make this really cool, nu-metal-style video.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
