This week’s #NewMusicFriday is loaded with a blend of impressive and noteworthy releases. For starters,\u00a0Code Orange<\/strong> return with their fifth album,\u00a0‘The Above’<\/em>. It’s been described as a “challenging”<\/a> record that sees them take numerous bold<\/a> new directions.<\/p>\n

When it comes to impressive releases, the likes of\u00a0Blood Command<\/strong>,\u00a0and\u00a0Koyo\u00a0<\/strong>deliver favourable albums that are worth your time. You can also throw in releases from\u00a0’68<\/strong>,\u00a0Grove Street<\/strong>,\u00a0King Nun<\/strong>,\u00a0Pleiades<\/strong>,\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0Slow Pulp<\/strong> in that pool.<\/p>\n

It’s a stacked week for releases (again!) as there’s also new music from Seattle punks Filth Is Eternal<\/strong>, alt-rock.prog from Haunt the Woods, Chicago metallic hardcore bruisers\u00a0Harms Way<\/strong>, and a hybrid of trap and metal courtesy of\u00a0BVDLVD<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
