Ever since their formation, Bristol-based collective Sun Spot\u00a0<\/strong>has carved out a reputation for their DIY, genre-fluid approach. Today, they’ve delivered a stand-alone single called ‘Wireframe’<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Dominated by industrial synthesisers, atmospheric verses, and distorted verses, it sees\u00a0Sun Spot <\/strong>blend ethereal and harsh tones with ease. As exemplified by the opening line of “Good news feels so far away,” ‘Wireframe’ <\/em>\u00a0sees vocalist Will Palmer explore his struggles with depression and ADHD diagnosis.<\/p>\n

On the track, Palmer commented, \u201cTelling the truth is never quite as easy as it sounds. It\u2019s one thing to look in the mirror and not like what you see, but sharing that, and being honest about what you saw is pretty humbling.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

‘Wireframe’<\/em> is the band’s latest release on Venn Records<\/strong>, following this past May’s\u00a0‘Working Memory’\u00a0<\/em>EP<\/a>. It also coincides with their biggest hometown headline show at The Louisiana in Bristol this Saturday (December 9th).<\/p>\n

Sun Spot<\/strong> are also set to play next summer’s\u00a0Right To Roam Festival<\/strong><\/a> and the\u00a0ArcTanGent Festival<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n
