As they wind down their current tour of the UK and Ireland,\u00a0TesseracT<\/strong><\/a> has been announced as the second headliners for the Radar Festival\u00a0<\/strong>in Manchester.<\/p>\n

The prog metallers will close out the Saturday night of the three-day event. They join previously announced headliners The Midnight<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

TesseracT<\/strong> are one of eight additions to Radar Festival<\/strong>. The other names consist of cinematic rock quartet Earthside<\/strong>, US post-hardcore legends The Fall Of Troy<\/strong>, metallic hardcore heavyweights thrown<\/strong>, proggers Hail The Sun<\/strong>, new supergroup Vower<\/strong> (featuring members of Toska<\/strong>, Black Peaks<\/strong>, and Palm Reader<\/strong>), Ashen<\/strong>, and Kyro<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Commenting on the latest names added to\u00a0Radar Festival<\/strong>‘s co-organiser Catherine Jackson-Smith said,\u00a0“Our second headliners are pioneers of the modern prog scene, TesseracT. This announcement is a little closer to home for me personally, as I met the band in 2010 when they first started playing at my own venue, The Lounge Bar in Alton.<\/em> They instantly stood out as exceptional artists and through that friendship, I\u2019ve stood at the sides watching the stage sizes and fans increase steadily since, looking forward to the day returning when we can collaborate on a show again. Together, we\u2019ve been working on an immersive experience for RADAR, this will be something special and not to be missed!<\/em><\/p>\n

“The rest of our line-up additions showcase the health of this modern progressive scene, and our commitment to platforming new bands such as Vower, and introducing a wide variety of music, from pop synths in the form of Kyros right through to post-hardcore from The Fall of Troy.”<\/em><\/p>\n

Who is playing\u00a0Radar Festival<\/strong>?<\/h2>\n

Alongside headliners TesseracT\u00a0<\/strong>and\u00a0The Midnight<\/strong>, as well as the names as mentioned above added to the bill, Radar Festival<\/strong> is proving to be a stacked line-up. Other notable names announced so far include\u00a0VOLA<\/strong>,\u00a0Heart of a Coward<\/strong>,\u00a0Caskets<\/strong>,\u00a0Conjurer<\/strong>,\u00a0Ithaca<\/strong>, Blood Command<\/strong>, unpeople<\/strong>,\u00a0Graphic Nature<\/strong>, and\u00a0Future Static<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
