Over It.\u00a0<\/strong>in 2007, he has constantly leaned into introspective lyrics, carving out a body of work that has plenty of depth. From the early intimacy of\u00a0<em>&#8216;Anchor&#8217; <\/em>\u00a0to the sweeping tone of\u00a0<em>&#8216;Anesthetic&#8217;<\/em> (from 2016&#8217;s\u00a0<em>&#8216;Standards&#8217;<\/em>) to new single,\u00a0<em>&#8216;A Trip Around The Sun&#8217;<\/em>, Weiss has considerably (and comfortably) blossomed <strong>IIOI<\/strong> into a dynamic group.<\/p>\n<p>The aforementioned track, sees Weiss continue to be joined by Joe George on guitar, Adam Beck (Sincere Engineer) on drums, and Matthew Frank (Lifted Bells, Their \/ They\u2019re \/ There) on bass. This incarnation of <strong>Into it. Over It<\/strong>. has existed since 2020, yet as evident on<em> &#8216;A Trip Around The Sun&#8217;<\/em>, the lyrical approach remains the same. It sees Weiss honing on the theme of self-care and personal balance, an idea that is easily relatable.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cIt\u2019s about recognizing a very real need to spend quality time with friends doing remote friend things. Letting loose. Bonding. Being a certain kind of yourself. This all so you can go back to your daily life and be the most complete version of yourself,&#8221;<\/em> explains Weiss. <em>&#8220;More specifically it\u2019s about my friend\u2019s bachelor party and an adventure in the mountains with my absolute fuckin\u2019 dudes.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Beck&#8217;s steady tempo is accompanied by an airy instrumental that builds towards the first chorus. Weiss&#8217; vocals are delivered with comfortable warmth, complementing the reflective words he sings. Along with George, Frank, and Beck, creates a layered number that never outstretches itself.<\/p>\n<p><iframe title=\"Into It.
